As tension continue to mount in Plateau State following two previous
incidents of heavy militant killing this weekend, security agents say
they have discovered 50 burnt corpses in the home of a pastor in Matse
village of Riyom local government area.
The bodies, some of them burnt beyond recognition, were discovered in the home of a pastor of the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN), and family sources said they belonged to people who ran into the pastor's home for safety as Fulani gunmen surrounded and attacked the area on Saturday morning.
