You can now watch DSTV on Blackberry, just as you can watch DSTV on some Nokia phones, iPhone and iPad, though the DStv Mobile Decoder for Blackberry is available as a public beta.
For you to watch DSTV on your Blackberry device, you must have an activated DSTV Drifta in a DStv Mobile DVB-H coverage area and your Blackberry must be running Blackberry OS 5.0 or higher.
Below are Blackberry Phones compatible with DSTV Drifta:
==> Bold 9000
==> Bold 9700
==> Curve 8520
==> Curve 8900
==> Curve 9300
==> Press the power button on the Drifta and wait for the DVB-H light to go steady green - this may take up to 3 minutes when using the Drifta for the first time.
==> Connect the phone to the Drifta via Wi-Fi. (Please refer to your BlackBerry user manual for instructions on how to connect to a Wi-Fi Network).
==> Once connected, launch the Drifta application.
==> A list of channels will then be displayed. Select a channel to start watching.

As at the time of publishing this, the price of DSTV Drifta is NGN 16 000 and is available at MultiChoice offices and you can get the DStv Mobile DVB-H coverage areas here.
