A report just reaching us now that there was an exchange of gun-shot between armed robbers and the Nigerian Police Force at the Zenith Bank Plc, Paiko Road, Minna, Niger State.
According to an eye witness who was at the scene of the event said that a man who wanted depositing a large sum of money into the bank was followed by an armed robbers trying to snatch away the money from him.
Unfortunately at the Zenith Bank Premises, when the victim was trying to get the money from the car, the robbers came out to snatch away the car that contains the money and the security Mopol Officers there quickly noticed what was going wrong and intervene by pursing the robbers exchanging bullets. After several shooting, the Mopol targeted the car tyre and was able to stop the robbers.
All the robbers (About 5 of them) with heavy guns were arrested and taking to Police custody for interrogation.
