THIS is a fight you would not want to get in between.
A snake and a crocodile have been caught on camera locked in a fierce battle in northern Queensland.
But there could only be one winner.
The snake is seen strangling its prey in a tight coil before swallowing it whole at Lake Moondarra, 19km north east of Mount Isa.
The pictures, captured by Tiffany Corlis, have made locals think twice before their next dip in the popular lake.
And it seems crocodiles aren’t the only reptiles on snakes’ hit list lately.
