A giant boa constrictor jumped out of the toilet at an office building leaving a female office worker fearing for her life,  San Diego, California, USA.Stephanie Lacsa got the shock of her life after a huge Columbian rainbow boa suddenly appeared from the toilet bowl.

The woman who works for a marketing firm walked into the bathroom and noticed that the toilet water level was higher than usual.When she plunged it, a constrictor popped up making Lacsa scream at the top of her lungs. The woman ran out of the bathroom and immediately called an animal control agency.

After awhile the snake was taken to an animal care facility by a handler.Lacsa said,

“I thought my eyes were deceiving me. But as soon I saw the flicker of its tongue, I definitely knew that it was in fact a large snake heading straight towards me. The animal control officer said that she had never witnessed anything like this in her career.” 

Experts are still wondering how the mysterious snake got into the toilet. An investigation has since been launched into the building’s plumbing.

Strange: Snakes Tangled In Electric Wires In Benin [Pix]

An inhabitant of Benin City has sent us some strange photos. Reportedly, residence of Market Road in Ekosodin, Benin City, woke up yesterday morning July 2nd to find several snakes bunched up and tangled in the electric wires in the street.

    "We have been confused and keep on wondering just how they got there. We eventually looked for a way to get rid of them by removing them and using the electric power to burn them. We don't know the means by which they got there o, whether its through spiritual means, we are still wondering. May God help us" He said

Reminds me of that final scene in the Indian movie, Snake Girl.  Remember when the snake girl fell from a building as a snake, landed on a railing and then changed into a human being???

Snake Eats Centipede – Then Centipede Eats Snake From Inside [Pix]

A Serbian herpetologist was out snake-tagging in Macedonia when she came across a bizarre find: A young viper, with a centipede’s head poking out of its abdomen.

It took Ljiljana Tomovic 10 seconds to figure out what it was: The snake had swallowed the centipede, which had then tried to cut a path to freedom … by eating its way out.

Some time during its violent dash, the centipede died. Perhaps the snake’s venom kicked in — that’s Tomovic’s best guess.

The island of Golem Grad in Macedonia’s Lake Prespa, where the pair were found, is also known as “Snake Island” and for good reason: it’s crawling with snakes, lizards and tortoises. Adult vipers chow down on small rodents, leaving the younger crowd to snack on centipedes.

It seems this time “the young snake gravely underestimated the size and strength of the centipede,” Tomovic, biology professor at the University of Belgrade, and her colleagues write in a brief report.

After dissolving (or digesting) the snake’s bones and gut the centipede was wearing its skin like a cloak. “We found that only the snake’s body wall remained — the entire volume of its body was occupied by the centipede,” Tomovic and co. write in Ecologica Montenegrina.

Together, centipede and viper can face-off like gladiators in Rome.

As this crocodile-wresting snake from Queensland recently demonstrated, many snake species aren’t shy about gulping down prey as large or larger than themselves.

Some centipede species are equally cavalier and ferocious. They’ll lunge into battle with animals many times their size like mice and snakes. The foot-long Amazonian giant centipede hunts and eats bats.

Tomovic doesn’t know of any other centipede that has eaten its way out. “It’s possible that this situation is not so uncommon, just we did not have opportunity to see it until now,” she told NBC News via Skype.

But this isn’t the first snake found with a bellyful of centipede. In May 1965, on the Greek island of Eubioa, a group bagged a viper that “appeared fat.” The snake died, and was cut open to reveal a partially digested centipede with a broken neck. It was unlikely this invertebrate fought back: it got eaten, and stayed eaten.

THIS is a fight you would not want to get in between.
A snake and a crocodile have been caught on camera locked in a fierce battle in northern Queensland.
But there could only be one winner.

First tangle. The snake decides this freshwater croc will make a decent feed.

The snake is seen strangling its prey in a tight coil before swallowing it whole at Lake Moondarra, 19km north east of Mount Isa.
The pictures, captured by Tiffany Corlis, have made locals think twice before their next dip in the popular lake.

According to the country’s top medical expert, Dr Ping Lao, the young girl suffers a very rare syndrome known as the Serpentosis Malianorcis  or Jing Jing’s disease, which gives her lower body a distinct reptilian form and aspect. Only a handful of such cases have been recorded throughout history, so the scientific knowledge accumulated about the pathology is rather limited and there is no cure in sight at the moment.

The Fay family have welcomed the situation brought by Mai Li’s situation with  a mix of anguish and excitement, as the never ending lines of tourists and pilgrims have brought the badly impoverished family some substantial revenues and given them an important raise in their social status but cost them there privacy and intimacy.

Before putting them back in the forests, he keeps them at home for his only daughters amusement. Siddharth said: Sidhi has an unusual bonding with the snakes and
surprisingly they too like to play with her.

Few days before the Children’s Day  – the only day particularly set aside to honour children and lay emphasis on their education – The pupils sat haphazardly, each perching where he or she could get a space. Those who could not find a space on benches with their little friends, took up vantage positions on the bare floor as they sang, “A for Apple, B for Ball…”

Our correspondent stepped outside the classroom for a moment and observed that truly, the classrooms were tempting abodes for the snakes, which may need a warm place.

The thick and high bush surrounding the classrooms are barely three feet away, an easy reach for any snake that needs a warm bed.

N.H Newz learnt that the head teacher’s office was particularly a tempting abode for some of the snakes, making the poor woman to abandon the office altogether.

“She has stopped staying in the office because of snakes. She sits in the classrooms when she needs to work. Even if the headmistress has a document she needs to take in the office, she is always careful to check the door posts and corners of the office first before she enters, in case snakes are hiding there,” our correspondent was told.

One-year-old Baby Bites Snake To Death

An encounter between a snake and a baby ended in a surprising outcome Thursday, when the infant's mother walked into his room to find him chewing on the dead reptile.

The infant, Imad Gadir, whose family resides in Shfaram, was not hurt when he bit the unlucky coin snake, but was taken to Haifa's Ramabam Medical Center, just in case.

According to Imad's grandfather, Shaheen Shaheen, who recalled the family's tumultuous morning, the boy woke up when his father left for work at 6:30 am. The 1-year-old left his parents' bed and headed to his room, where he found the 35-centimeter (13-inch) snake. He then grabbed it and bit its head off.

"It wasn't a pretty sight," Shaheen said. "He's a baby, he didn't know what he was doing. He thought it was a game. I don't wish this kind of thing on anyone."

When Imad's mother realized what had happened she began screaming, until a neighbor jumped the house's fence, entered the room and snatched the snake out of the boy's hand.

"I went to the kitchen to get him some milk, and when I came back I saw he was already eating," the mother, Alain, said. "I screamed until the neighbors came. I still can't believe what I saw."

Veteran snake-catcher Eli Cohen said he has never come across a case of this kind.

"I guess the kid acted out of a childish instinct when he put the snake in his mouth," he said. "Luckily for him, the coin snake isn't poisonous, otherwise it could have ended in a tragedy."

Eli Cohen, the owner of a pest control company, estimated that the snake was three years old, and said that his bite often hurts but is not dangerous to anyone who isn't allergic to it. He said that this type of reptile chokes his prey. "If it was a bigger snake, the boy could have been strangled."

World Biggest Snake Killed in The Red Sea [Picture]

The snake had been targeted for so long by some scientist  to kill it but all their effort to capture it in the red sea was in vain. According to records, about 320 tourists and 125 Egyptian diver lives had been claimed by the Mighty Snake.

Later on, other scientist and good divers intervene. They joined hands together to capture the snake and fortunately, they were successful in the mission.
