A mob in Calabar South Local Government took the law into their hands when they pursued a group of boys and after capturing one, burnt him to death in broad day light.



The group of boys are said to be a gang known as ‘Scolombo Boys’ and they were reportedly caught stealing whereafter they were pursued by residents of the area. Pictures show the mob conversing around the burnt body after the horrific crime as others took pictures of the corpse and had a good laugh.

Police Watch Helplessly As Female Kidnapper Burns To Ashes In Lagos [Graphics Pix]

An angry mob set ablaze a suspected female kidnapper on Tuesday on Ekoro Road at Abule Egba area of Lagos after she was caught with three children.
The woman was said to have kidnapped the three children who were on their way to school in the area at about 7a.m this morning while pretending she was taking them to school but she ran out of luck as she was spotted by a bread seller who raised an alarm.

According to an eyewitness who identified himself as Ikisa, she tried to escape but was caught by a mob. When she was questioned on the ownership of the children, she claimed they were hers but when they realized she was lying, they beat her thoroughly, hung a tyre on her neck, poured petrol on her and set her ablaze.

Other sources said the unidentified woman came with a jeep which she parked at a distance and the car was later taken to the Oke-Odo Police Station, while others said she wanted to take the children into a tricycle before she was caught.
Policemen from the Oke-Odo Police Station watched helplessly as she had burnt completely before they got to the scene.

Residents however expressed satisfaction over the jungle justice meted out to the woman, saying that if she had been taken to the Police Station,  she would have been set free by the police.
A policeman, who pleaded anonymity said that no arrest could be made as it could be ascertained who set the woman ablaze.

The police could also not confirm whether the woman came with a jeep or whether the jeep had been taken to the station or not as the Divisional Police Officer of Oke-Odo Police said he was at a meeting.

Jungle justice is becoming very rampant. Just yesterday, a woman was burnt to death in Ondo state while three suspected kidnappers were set ablaze in Ogun state about two weeks ago.

One of kidnappers, lady pictured above, was caught yesterday with 3 kids and that she was pretending to be a mad woman. A mob descended on her, stripped her naked, beat her up and was about to set her ablaze before the police intervened. The other kidnapper wasn't so lucky.

Dozens of Boko Haram militants who launched attack on military barracks and other neighbourhoods of Maiduguri, Borno State, were reportedly killed Friday by the Nigerian security forces and members of vigilante group, known as the civilian-JTF.

Gay couple burnt to death in lagos. *One on the run* [Pix]

It was Reported by a Landlord of a residential Household in Gbagada Lagos state that a Man Named Olabanji Olaleye is still on Search after one Year of escape when he was undergoing the Penalty of Jungle Justice around Gbagada Lagos.

He has been no where to be found since on the 14th of Febuary 2013 around 4:PM when he was caught with his Partner Babalola Samuel Practicing Gay Sex together..

Although Babalola Samuel couldn’t escape the Penalty and he was being Burnt to death so since then Olabanji has been on search for him to go through the same penalty.. Nigeria people wicked ooo!

Gunmen Kill 52, Set Ablaze 300 Houses In Borno

Over 50 gunmen, yesterday, invaded Kawuri District of Konduga Local Government Area of Borno state and set ablaze over 300 residential houses, after killing a soldier, 51 civilians and wounded several policemen.
The injured residents are now receiving treatment at the Konduga General Hospital and the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.

Kawuri District is one of the big towns in Konduga,on Maiduguri-Bama Expressway, which is about 60 kilometres from Maiduguri, the state capital.

This town has been attacked not for the first time. The first attack took place in October, when Boko Haram terrorists clashed with vigilante youth, popularly known as civilian JTF, which led to the killing of 10 people including three members of the Civilian JTF, with 18 others injured and the burning of 48 shops and 200 houses.

It has been gathered that the fresh attack on Kawuri town occurred at about 5pm, Sunday, when gunmen carrying AK47 rifles, Improvised Explosive Devices and petrol bombs entered the community and wreaked havoc before they fled into the Sambisa forest.

According to a survivor, Mallam Mustapha Modu said, he counted about 47 dead bodies on Monday morning while several others sustained gunshots and burnt wounds.

Uganda has last week signed a bill that further bans homosexuality. According to CNN, a man was even burned to death for being gay shortly. The bill's original 2009 version, named "Kill The Gays," went as far as calling for the death penalty for certain homosexual acts; that provision was shelved following international furore. Under its latest iteration, anyone who conducts marriage ceremonies for same-sex couples faces seven years behind bars.

Doctors who treat gays, landlords who rent them property and those suspected of being LBGTQ are subject to five-year prison terms under the bill. Anyone who offers support to homosexuals will also be committing a criminal offense, which can reportedly extend to counseling.

Though homosexuality has already been illegal in the Southeast African nation, some argued this bill needed to be passed to safeguard against Western values. Warning! "The witch hunt had already started, and now it has been legitimized by the parliament of Uganda, which is very scary," said Clare Byarugaba, who coordinates the Ugandan Civil Society Coalition on Human Rights and Constitutional Law, a gay rights group. "We don't know how brutal the police will be now that the bill has passed. With this legitimization, it's going to get worse." President Yoweri Museveni has to sign the bill within 30 days to make it official.

Mother Burns Daughter With Hot Iron [Pix]

A woman, identified simply as Mrs. Maxwell, has been arrested by the police for allegedly assaulting her daughter, Blessing, with a hot pressing iron.
Blessing, a primary three student of the Lagos Model Nursery and Primary School, Ikeja GRA, was allegedly assaulted last Monday by her mother for licking the baby’s food.

incident came to light after a neighbour, who lived within the Police College Barracks, Ikeja, with the Maxwells, allegedly called the authorities of the LMNPS to complain about Blessing’s condition. Blessing’s father is said to be a police corporal.

A source within the school, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said, “It was last Friday that we got the anonymous call. At the time, two of Blessing’s younger siblings were in school, so we called them aside and asked after Blessing.

“At first, they were both scared that they would get into trouble with their mother if they told the truth but they eventually opened up and said their mother had used a hot pressing iron on Blessing.”
The Head Teacher of the school, accompanied by some other employees of the school, was said to have visited  Blessing at home.

It was learnt that on arriving at the Maxwells’ house, Blessing was seen sitting outside their flat, sporting burn marks all over her body.
The source said, “We tried to question Blessing about what happened to her, but she was scared of her mother. Eventually, we went into the house and confronted the mother, but she lied that hot water had mistakenly poured on Blessing.

“When we asked if Blessing had received medical attention for her injuries, her mother got annoyed and dragged Blessing into the house. She then refused to answer more questions. Since it was a police barracks, we thought it wise to leave quietly before things got out of hand.
“The most painful aspect of the whole issue is that despite Blessing’s wounds, their neighbour told us that she had been carrying out house chores like before. From what I saw, that girl is so injured that I didn’t expect that she would be able to come to school for the rest of the term. Not one of us guessed that she was being abused at home.”

PUNCH Metro gathered that both mother and child were picked up by officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation after the school authorities alerted the ministry. Blessing was said to have been picked up by a Lagos State Ambulance Service bus.

When our correspondent contacted the Child Director, WAPA, Mrs. Fadairo, she said, “I cannot talk at this time. We are at the hospital and Blessing is in critical condition.”

Armed Robber Beaten And Set on fire in GHANA [Pix]

A man believed to be in his late thirties was lynched at Ashaiman New Town yesterday after he attempted to rob an MTN sales point at gunpoint. He was in the company of two others during the robbery operation but he was not lucky, as he was grabbed by an angry mob and subsequently beaten and set on fire. The robber, who gave his name as Romeo, claimed to be a resident of Kasoa Barrier in the Central Region.A Nigerian gang member who resides at Ashaiman Tulaku barrier, according to the deceased, gave information about the sales point. A security man, sales personnel and a customer were held hostage by the robbers at the sales point, which had recently experienced two separate robberies, with the robbers taking away thousands of Ghana Cedis. The robbers demanded money and other valuables, while one waited in a blue-black Toyota Corolla saloon car in front of the sales point, after they had entered the place at about 8:30am under the pretext of transacting business.

Linda Asamoah, a sales attendant, was in the inner chamber of the sales point which had been divided into two with glass. This prevented the robbers from entering where the money was being kept. Linda made a quick phone call to a friend nearby who promptly raised the alarm which attracted the crowd. The driver of the get-away car, sensing danger, drove off, leaving his colleagues in the office block, upon hearing the alarm.

 However, one of the robbers managed to jump on top of the bonnet of the vehicle and fled with the driver.While escaping, the driver fired shots, with a bullet hitting a glass door of another shop, Maranatha Photo and Barbering Salon, near the scene. Luck however eluded Romeo, who was not able to catch up quickly with the vehicle, as he was pursued by the mob after he took to his heels from the sales point until he was apprehended. Petrol Blaze He was subjected to severe beatings with clubs, metals, golf bats and cement blocks among other implements before finally being set ablaze and left to burn in the middle of the street. Romeo, however, managed to roll over his body until the fire went out while bleeding profusely, mostly from his head. The incident attracted hundreds of persons who thronged the scene to either unleash their anger on the suspect or catch a glimpse of the deceased after he was killed.

 Linda Asamoah, the sales girl, narrated to DAILY GUIDE: “I was at the office when one robber came that he wanted to receive mobile money transfer and I told him the network was down so he should go and return later.” According to her, another armed robber came to join his colleague, pulled out a pistol and quickly demanded money and other items. On his part, Romeo jumped over the counter after they had locked themselves in one of the glass apartments. She further narrated: “It was when he was trying to open the glass door to where we kept the money that I called a friend who shouted ‘thief, thief’ before the area boys came around.” Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Emmanuel Tetteh Yarkah confirmed the incident to DAILY GUIDE, and added that the police arrived to find the lifeless body of the suspected robber in a pool of blood.

According to him, the corpse had been conveyed to the Police Hospital morgue in Accra for possible identification, further investigations and autopsy. He noted that upon preliminary investigations, the police retrieved a pistol and live ammunition in a bag which was abandoned on the street by the deceased while he was running away from the fuming mob. Ashaiman Newtown and its environs are under frequent siege by armed robbers, putting the area youth under constant alert.

12 Year Old Boy Samuel Burnt To Death By Mob [Video]

The discovery of this harrowing video of a twelve year old boy called Samuel being lynched has led to a group of Nigerians launching a new online campaign aimed at all Nigerians called "Don't Walk Away". A campaign against "Mob Justice". I say this is a great move.
