Andre Johnson was severely injured in April after he severed his penis and leaped from the second level of a building in North Hollywood. He told E! that he was under the influence of drugs at the time but insisted that he knew what he was doing.

"Yes, I was using drugs that night, but I was in complete control," he said. "I cut it off because that was the root of all my problems. My solution to the problem was the realization that sex is for mortals, and I am a god. ...Those kinds of activities got me into trouble, and I came here to be a god."Johnson performs under the name Christ Bearer and his group Northstar was affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan. Johnson said he hadn't spoken out on the incident before because "People perceived me as crazy, so I never wanted to speak wholeheartedly on the matter."

Doctors weren't able to reattach the penis, he told E!.

He said he had been seeing a psychologist after he was discharged but that he has been deemed okay. He said he was thankful to God when he awoke in the hospital still alive.

"I didn't want to kill myself," Johnson said. "That was just my response to the demons. They were doing their best to get to me, but being alive solidified my thoughts. ...I'm alive, penis or no penis."\

Alfredo Di Stefano, the player Real Madrid has hailed as being the most important component in its mid-20th century ascent to becoming a global powerhouse, has died. He was 88.
The club said in a statement that Di Stefano, its honorary president, died on Monday afternoon at Gregorio Maranon hospital, two days after a heart attack.
Di Stefano turned 88 on Friday. The following day, he had a heart attack on a Madrid street near the club's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Paramedics were able to resuscitate him after 18 minutes, but he spent the following days in a coma.
Renowned for his speed, versatility and strategic grasp of the game, he helped Madrid attain five straight European Champions Cups and was voted European player of the year in 1957 and '59.
In a career spanning five clubs in three countries - Argentina, Colombia and Spain - from 1945-1966, Di Stefano scored 789 goals in 1,090 matches. In the process he claimed top-scorer status once in the Argentine league, twice in Colombia's league and five times in Spain.

However, as FIFA acknowledges on its official website, "statistics will show that Alfredo Di Stefano is one of the world's greatest ever goal scorers, but the bare facts only tell part of the story."
"I'm very saddened by the news of the death of Alfredo Di Stefano," said Sepp Blatter, president of the sport's international governing body. "He was the most complete player I've ever seen. He was also my favorite player."
Those who knew him recall a straight-talking character who believed success on the field came through physical effort and dedication.
"I don't want to be idolized, I just want to play. And to do that you have to run and sweat," he said. His modesty in the face of overwhelming sporting success won him the admiration of many.
"I think he was one of the greatest, if not the greatest, football player ever," England great Bobby Charlton said.
Born July 4, 1926, in the Barracas suburb of Buenos Aires, near the port where British sailors introduced football to Argentina, Di Stefano learned the game while playing free-for-all soccer in what he called "the academy of the streets."
"In our neighborhood we used to hold major football sessions that went on until it got dark, with everyone playing against each other," he said.
"Pope Francis and I went to the same school," Di Stefano said when Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected pontiff, adding the two likely played together as children.
Di Stefano's father, Alfredo, the son of an immigrant from the Italian island of Capri, was a loyal fan of River Plate. De Stefano's mother, Eulalia Laulhe Gilmont, was of French and Irish ancestry.
Having trialed successfully for River Plate, he turned professional in 1945, joining Colombia's Millonarios six years later. He won six league titles for the two clubs.
His turn of speed soon had fans chanting, "Help, here comes the jet-propelled 'blonde arrow,'" ("Saeta Rubia," in Spanish) a nickname Di Stefano retained all his life.
He played in Spain for the first time in 1952 and dazzled the crowd at a tournament commemorating Real Madrid's 50th anniversary, a fateful encounter.
Barcelona signed Di Stefano in 1953 after agreeing a transfer with River Plate, but the move was thrown into doubt when Madrid also negotiated his transfer - with Millonarios.
Although the Spanish federation authorized Di Stefano to play half of his four-year contract with each club, Barcelona opted out, alleging pressure from the Madrid-based ruling military dictatorship of Gen. Francisco Franco.
In his first season Di Stefano helped Madrid win its second league title, ending a 21-year drought.
Within three years, he helped Madrid lift its first European Cup by scoring in a 4-3 win over France's Stade Reims.
The arrival at Madrid of Hungarian great Ferenc Puskas in 1958 led to an attacking partnership of dynamic effectiveness which allowed the club to retain the European title through to 1960, a record yet to be beaten.
Di Stefano's last final in 1960 at Glasgow saw possibly his finest match. Before 127,000 fans, he scored three times in Madrid's 7-3 demolition of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The same year, he helped Madrid win the inaugural Intercontinental Cup between European and South American champions with a 5-1 aggregate victory over Uruguay's Penarol.
In his remaining four years at Madrid, Di Stefano helped his team lift a further four league titles.
He topped the Spanish league's scoring standings in five of his 11 seasons with Madrid. He scored 49 times in 58 European matches, a record in the competition that stood for more than four decades.
Di Stefano left Madrid in 1964 to join Barcelona-based Espanyol for a two-year spell before retiring at age 40.
"Football brought me so many beautiful moments. It built my life," said Di Stefano, who was also an Argentina and Spain international. But World Cup glory eluded him. Argentina didn't play in 1950 and '54, while Spain didn't qualify for Sweden in 1958. Di Stefano carried an injury to Chile 1962 and did not play. So, his only international success was a 1947 Copa America victory with Argentina.
In 1963, Di Stefano was held captive by a guerrilla group during Madrid's tour of Venezuela. He was taken at gunpoint from his hotel room by the publicity-seeking National Liberation Army Front and released unhurt two days later.
As a coach, he led Boca Juniors and River Plate to Argentine league titles, and won the European Cup Winners' Cup, the Spanish league title and the Copa del Rey with Valencia. He also managed Madrid between 1982 and 1984.
Madrid appointed Di Stefano honorary president in 2000, named its training complex stadium after him six years later and erected a statue in his honor in 2008.
A diabetic, Di Stefano fought ill-health in old age and underwent a quadruple bypass with a pacemaker implanted in December 2005 after a heart attack.
In May 2013 his children asked a court to rule him mentally incapable after he announced plans to marry a woman 50 years his junior.
"I don't care that my children are against it," Di Stefano, then 86, said of his plans to marry 36-year-old Gina Gonzalez.
His interest in football never diminished. At 86 he still maintained a regular column in Spanish sports newspaper Marca.
In it, he revealed that he had missed Pope Francis' appointment. "I must confess that while everyone else watched the white smoke live," he wrote. "I was, as always, watching a football game."

Help women fight breast cancer today. Men, please do your part  and suck a breast now! And women, please endeavour to make it available regularly…… This message is from the Ministry of Health in the fight against breast cancer.

I have tried several times without success to get a confirmation for this story on the mentioned websites including cancer.org and some others in related fields. But perhaps, someone out there knows the original and authentic source of this message? Please share it with us!

As interesting as this message may be, as well as the different responses it receives anytime it is being passed around, depending on which side of the divide you find yourself, I am more worried about the health implications attached. Cancer is not something to make jokes out of as it claims millions of lives across the world every year. Again, some frightened lady who hitherto was not in favour of breast sucking may easily submit herself to torture with the belief that she is suffering for a good reason. Please, let us not confuse issues. Breast feeding is not the same as breast sucking. Breast feeding is the process of feeding  new born and infants with breast milk. It is this that has been medically proven to be of  immense benefit to both mother and child and can prevent breast cancer. There are no scientifically proven studies indicating that breast sucking is of any medical benefit to the the woman whose breast is being sucked or the person doing the sucking.

However, what has been scientifically proven is the fact that breast sucking when properly performed is of immense pleasure to the woman and may sometime on its own lead to orgasm or when combined with some other forms of sexual stimulation will help a woman to achieve orgasm quicker. Again, neither has any research shown that breast sucking can give a woman cancer.

So ladies, please relax and allow your guys do the job for you.  if you are not enjoying the way he is doing it, tell him. I can assure you, it’s a win-win situation.

  Los Blancos finally ended their wait for La Decimal thanks to goals from Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Christiano Ronaldo. 

Real Madrid have been crowned champions of Europe for a 10th time courtesy of a 4-1 win over city rivals Atletico on Saturday night.

46 persons dead in the twin bomb blasts that hit the popular Jos terminus market

The Police Command in Plateau has confirmed 46 persons dead in the twin bomb blasts that hit the popular Jos terminus market on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr Chris Olakpe, the Commissioner of Police, who addressed newsmen on the incident, said that the blast also injured 45 people.

According to him, the first bomber came in a Fiat bus and parked at the market’s central business area.

"The second blast, which was concealed in a Siena bus, happened 100 metres away from the first one,’’ he said.

Olakpe said that the casualty figures were collated after visits to Plateau Specialist Hospital and Bingham Hospital, Jos.

"Like I told you, there should be more because we have not gone to the new and old Jos University Teaching Hospitals,’’ he further explained.

The police commissioner said that a comprehensive details of casualties could be determined after the security teams had visited the two health establishments.

Olapke said that the market had been cordoned off and urged members of the public to steer away from the affected place in their own interest.

"Men of our anti-bomb unit will comb the market before it is declared safe for business activities to continue,'' he said.

He advised members of the public to always avoid the temptation of rushing to bomb scenes, adding that people around such scenes should quickly lie down for "at least 30 minutes'' before scurrying to safety.

The police chief advised Nigerians to be security conscious in every environment they found themselves.

"We also expect people to promptly report any suspicious character to the security agencies.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses have put the death toll at 150. Channels Tv, also reported that at least 150 persons were killed in the blast.

Boko Haram admits abducting female students

The Boko Haram sect said on Monday it carried out the abduction of over 100 female students of Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, last month.
The girls are still believed to be missing, prompting widespread criticism of the Federal Government, the BBC reports.
“I abducted your girls,” the BBC quoted Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, as saying in a video obtained by the AFP news agency.
Meanwhile, a woman who helped organise protests over the abduction has been detained, her fellow community leaders said.

Two doctors at the Queen’s Hospital, Dr. Yahya Al-Abed and Dr. Babatunde Coker have been charged to court for malpractice after the death of a woman.
32-year old Maria de Jesus had gone to the hospital and complained of severe abdominal pain, and Al-Abed had suggested an appendectomy, which Coker, his supervisor, had agreed to.
Coker was supposed to remain in the gallery to supervise the surgery and said he would “be around” but instead ate lunch and proceeded to go home. Al-Abed removed what he thought was the appendix but it was later found out to be an ovary.
De Jesus, 21 weeks pregnant with her fourth child, came back to the hospital with severe abdominal pain 19 days later. After delivering her stillborn son, de Jesus was taken into an emergency appendectomy and died on the table from multiple organ failure due to sepsis.
Al-Abed admits to his mistake but denies malpractice. Coker is also facing the malpractice tribunal and admits to his failure to supervise the surgery but denies the other charges.

[SHOCKING] Teenager Kills Her Newborn Baby Because He Looked Like Her Ex-Boyfriend

A Chicago high school student has been charged with first degree murder after placing her newborn child in a Walmart bag and then leaving the baby outside to die because he looked like his father, her ex-boyfriend.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Ana Rosa Mora, 18, gave birth to a full-term baby boy, disposed of the still-living child outside, and then went back to bed.

The baby was discovered by a construction worker hours later who called police. The baby had already died by the time officers arrived.

According to prosecutors, Mora killed her baby out of fear her boyfriend would leave her if he discovered that the father of the child was her ex-boyfriend.
Suspicions about Mora arose after staff members at her high school noticed on Monday that she’d recently given birth. Mora showed them a photo of a baby girl on her iPad claiming it was hers, according to Assistant State’s Attorney Glen Runk. The photo turned out to be a picture of a baby downloaded from the Internet.
Mora mentioned the discovery of the dead baby discovered near her home to the staffers and asked whether police had the right to take DNA from people in her house and whether the DNA would show who the child’s mother was.
A school staff member called police who interviewed Mora, before taking her into custody and charging her with murder.
According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, the baby — found in the shopping bag with the placenta and umbilical cord — was born alive and died of asphyxia and exposure.
Mora had been on track to graduate high school this year with plans to attend college.

this my job as a news blogger has really exposed me to some weird, bizzarre and extremely bizarre stories...this falls into the "extremely bizarre" category.

Today, This morning to be precise, around 9am, a woman who confessed to be a witch was found inside a sealed gutter around Abalti Barracks, just before Ojuelegba in Surulere, Lagos.

A passerby noticed someone stretching out a hand from a very small hole in the 6ft deep gutter just in front of the Barracks, calling out for help. The pedestrian quickly ran into the barracks to draw the soldiers attention to what he saw. when they looked and saw it was a woman...a welder was sent for to bring a cutter and open the iron cover and the woman was brought out.

When asked how she found her way into the tunnel the woman said:

My name is Amudat Jimoh, It was God that sent me here, He (GOD) said I should confess my sins so that I don't die, please I need water to drink, help me, I don't know how i found myself here, please help me..."

The soldiers however didn't let reporters get more details from her.
Later, some people in the crowd said she confessed to witchcraft saying that she went for her meeting transformed as a bird as usual, and a fight ensued or something like that. the soldiers prevented the mob from lynching her and ambulance that was called to the scene, took her away.

A man who identified himself as mustapha, gave a testimony today at the Synagogue church of all nations claiming that he was a member of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram, adding that he was sent to bomb the church before the lord arrested him.

Musty who says he is from Adamawa revealed that he and 4 others were sent to blow up the church. He said when 5 of them eventually got to the SCOAN junction, they tried to give one mallam a bag to keep which was containing a metre bomb, but the mallam refused.
So they entered a restaurant which was very close to church. They were eating and watching SCOAN when the man of God started praying for viewers. He said the prayers caused confusion. 4 of them took off but Mustapha was arrested by the power God and he came inside the church and started confessing.

He also mentioned how they get initiated into Boko Haram and how in a dream he had he saw TB Joshua, telling him to stop killing.

Mother Keeps Dead Baby In Freezer For 2 Years

A French mother was charged late on Monday after police found her dead baby in a freezer, where it had apparently laid for the past two years, prosecutors said. Police were at the home of a 27-year-old French woman on Saturday in the northern French city of Lisbourg for an unrelated reason when her boyfriend told officers about the macabre secret in the freezer.

 After finding the baby’s frozen corpse, the mother told officers that the child had been born alive at home, but died a few days later for reasons that remain unclear. She hid the body of the newborn in the freezer, where it remained for two years. The circumstances of the baby’s death "are unclear but there is really no evidence to suspect an intention to kill the child," Roy said. Late on Monday the mother was indicted on charges of causing death through lack of care. She is currently under judicial supervision. Many questions remain unanswered about the baby, including its age and how long it had lived for. Police believe the woman and her 29-year-old boyfriend had “recently” got together, though they didn’t offer further detail.

The couple were living together in the home, which he owns, where the baby was discovered. The boyfriend is apparently not the biological father of the child, yet he still faces charges for not reporting the existence of the dead baby to police. Prosecutors said he knew of the corpse in the freezer for a “couple weeks.” So far the mother has given conflicting statements when explaining how the baby ended up in the freezer. "It's a little difficult to get the facts from the mother, who is a little bit lost ," the prosecutor said. 

The case is also troubling because the couple have a combined total four other children between them, who range in age from four months to seven years old. Police said the mother has two kids, the boyfriend has one and they have one child in common. However, the mother’s children were with their father at the time police found the body, so they won’t have to be placed into foster care. This is not the only recent case of a French mother being charged over the death of newborn babies found in a freezer. Indeed there have been a number of cases in recent years, which have been linked to extreme cases of "pregnancy denial".

Horrific footage has emerged of a cannibal eating the leg of a Muslim slaughtered by a rampaging Christian mob in the Central African Republic.

The victim was hauled from a bus, battered and then stabbed before being set on fire in the capital city Bangui, according to the BBC.

In the aftermath of the incident, one of his attackers Ouandja Magloire – who also calls himself ‘Mad Dog’ -  grabbed hold of his leg and then began to devour it.

Witness Jean-Sylvestre Tchya told news agency AFP: ‘One of the individuals took hold of an arm and went and bought some bread and starting chewing on the flesh, along with his bread.

Woman Delivers Baby With Mysterious Islamic Sign Shaped Ears [Pix]

When the little Mahmud Kosija was delivered by his mother, Hajia Abibat Kosija two months ago, he came to this world with mysteries which had been attracting several residents of Ondo Kingdom and its neighbouring communities to their family house at Igbomoba Street, beside a central mosque.

Mahmud, a son of an Islamic cleric was said to have been born with a strange ear-shape, with an Islamic inscription.
Interestingly, it is said that the new-born baby was shouting “Allah” “Allah”’ immediately as he was delivered at the Mother and Child Hospital in Ondo Town.

As soon as mother had been discharged from the hospital, the house of the baby’s family has become something like mecca. A large crowd came to see the miraculous ear with Islamic inscription meaning, “Allahu” in Islamic parlance.

The boy’s father named him Alfa Ibrahim Kosija and described his birth as the handiwork of Allah.
He explained that the shape of the ear which appeared like an Islamic inscription of “Allah” in the holy Quran was an indication of the message of God that the end of the world was gradually coming close.

According to the Islamic cleric, apart from the shape of the ear, the birth of the baby was a sign that the world was gradually coming to an end. He stressed that apart from being born on Muslim holy day, Friday, the time the baby was born was also apt in Islam (12, noon).
He added that the baby’s cry of “Allah, Allah” after birth attracted the attention of people at the hospital to the labour room before the shape of the ear was later discovered by the nurses, after which the baby used his left hand side to cover the ear.

Corroborating Kosija’s comment, an Ondo town based Islamic cleric, Sheik Abdulakeem Abeeblah, attributed the shape of the ear which he said means Allah in Islamic parlance. He called on all Muslims to fear God and refrain from committing sins that could prevent them from entering the kingdom of God.

Meanwhile mother confesses that the boy’s behaviour is quite unusual of babies of his age.
Not only is he crying during specific period of the day especially during the early Morning Prayer, popularly called “Tajuud” in Islamic religion, the boy is often noticed covering the strange ear with his left hand, mother says.

Commenting on the development, an Ondo based Medical Doctor, Olu Ojo described the shape of the ear which has an Islamic inscription as unusual. He noted that it was formed as a result of deformity in the congenital process in the embryo.
Dr Olu Ojo, while ruling out any other meaning in the shape of the ear which he said appeared so strange,added that it could occur to non-Muslim or even Christian.

Scientist at the Gladstone Institutes have identified the precise chain of molecular events in the human body that drives the death of most of the immune system’s CD4 T cells as an HIV infection leads to AIDS.

Gladstone has showed how the body’s own immune response to HIV causes CD4 T cell death via a pathway triggering inflammation, and secondly by identifying the host DNA sensor that detects the viral DNA and triggers this death response,” said Dr. Robert F.

Further, they have identified an existing anti-inflammatory drug that in laboratory tests blocks the death of these cells — and now are planning a Phase 2 clinical trial to determine if this drug or a similar drug can prevent HIV-infected people from developing AIDS.

Two separate journal articles, published simultaneously in Nature and Science, detail the research from the laboratory of Dr. Warner C. Greene, who directs virology and immunology research at Gladstone, an independent biomedical-research nonprofit.

His lab’s Science paper reveals how, during an HIV infection, a protein known as IFI16 senses fragments of HIV DNA in abortively infected immune cells. This triggers the activation of the human enzyme caspase-1 and leads to pyroptosis, a fiery and highly inflammatory form of cell death.

As revealed in Nature, this repetitive cycle of abortive infection, cell death, inflammation and recruitment of additional CD4 T cells to the infection “hot zone” ultimately destroys the immune system and causes AIDS.

Siliciano, a professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University, and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator. “This one-two punch of discoveries underscores the critical value of basic science — by uncovering the major cause of CD4 T cell depletion in AIDS, Dr. Greene’s lab has been able to identify a potential new therapy for blocking the disease’s progression and improving on current antiretroviral medications.

Shaheen Dhada is an unlikely looking protagonist in the battle under way in India to protect free speech from government restrictions in the new media age.
Slight and soft-spoken, Dhada perches on the edge of her bed in a purple-walled room that has been her own for the past 20 years. Outside, police officers are posted for her protection in the town of Palghar, 2 1/2 hours outside Mumbai.

The 21-year-old management science grad's Facebook post last week triggered her arrest and the wrath of local residents. Her "crime" was questioning the shutdown of Mumbai as mourners gathered for the cremation of Bal Thackeray, who had dominated the city's political stage for decades with cagey intimidation tactics.
In a Facebook post on Nov. 18, Dhada wrote: "Every day thousands of people die, but still the world moves on. ... Today, Mumbai shuts down out of fear, not out of respect."

Shaken by the reaction to his daughter's Facebook post, Farooq Dhada (shown here with Shaheen) says in India, freedom of speech "exists only on paper."

Within minutes, she got a call from a stranger. "And he told me, 'Do you really think whatever you posted is right?' " Dhada says. "I was actually confused about what he was asking for."
She hung up and deleted her comment. But by then a mob had gathered at her uncle's medical clinic around the corner, smashing windows and equipment, and vandalizing the operating room.
"Within 10 minutes, the police came and told me to come to the police station. I had to apologize in a written statement," says Dhada, who was held until 2 a.m. and then released on bail. A friend of hers, Renu Srinivasan, who "liked" the post, had been detained with her. A mob descended on the station. Dhada says she couldn't see it, but heard: "They were shouting, and at that time I was really very scared."

Meanwhile, Dhada's father, Farooq Dhada, says his family cowered inside their home for hours in the darkness, afraid the mob would come for them next.
The episode has shaken the Muslim father of two, who says he never expected things to escalate to such a frightening pitch. Reflecting on the incident days later, he says freedom of speech in India "exists only on paper." He says he doubts the common person feels any sense of security — no matter what religion they are.

Boko Haram Attacks Bama Army Barracks In Borno State, Women And Children Killed

A group of Boko Haram militants in the early hours of yesterday attacked the 202 Army Battalion Barracks located in Bama, about 40 kilometers outside Maiduguri town, and killed several women and children.

The Islamic sect, according to a source in the barracks, struck around 3am local time, firing heavy arms and ammunition.

Our source, a soldier, said that troops of the Nigerian Army and Air Force repelled the sect using fierce air and ground attacks, resulting in the killing of many of the terrorists.

He explained that some soldiers in the barracks lost their wives, children and relatives in the fight, which lasted until about 7am, during which time the sound of explosives and guns filled the air.

According to him, accurate details of actual casualties are unavailable, and there is tension and confusion within the military.
