Cannibal mum tries to eat her own baby shortly after giving birth [Pix]

A 24 year old woman named Li Zhenghua, was discovered by a shocked nurse trying to eat her baby days after he was born at a local hospital in China. The nurse saw her eating the infant's arm and as she made to rescue the infant, the crazed mum refused to let the baby go. The nurse immediately raised an alarm and called other hospital staff who helped to rescue the baby.

According to local media reports, the attack happened at a hospital in the city of Shenzhen in China’s Guangdong Province. The woman had been found on the streets heavily pregnant and in labour..

The homeless woman, suspected to be mentally unstable, was taken to the hospital where she gave birth and attempted to eat her baby.

A hospital spokesman spoke to Chinese media;

"It was really shocking, the arm was badly damaged and suffered not only heavy bruising but bleeding as a result of the bite. Fortunately, doctors managed to insert something to stop her closing her teeth and then levered her jaws apart. After that they gave her a sedative and took the baby to a secure location."

Authorities said the woman's mother-in-law had thrown her out on the streets despite being pregnant after she started acting mental at home.

They say they are trying to find out why the new mum tried to eat her baby. The baby has since been taken into the care of the government.

Horrific footage has emerged of a cannibal eating the leg of a Muslim slaughtered by a rampaging Christian mob in the Central African Republic.

The victim was hauled from a bus, battered and then stabbed before being set on fire in the capital city Bangui, according to the BBC.

In the aftermath of the incident, one of his attackers Ouandja Magloire – who also calls himself ‘Mad Dog’ -  grabbed hold of his leg and then began to devour it.

Witness Jean-Sylvestre Tchya told news agency AFP: ‘One of the individuals took hold of an arm and went and bought some bread and starting chewing on the flesh, along with his bread.

Magloire said that his action was revenge for the murders of his pregnant wife, his sister-in-law and her baby

Magloire told a BBC reporter that his action was revenge for the murders of his pregnant wife, his sister-in-law and her baby.

He claimed that Muslims were responsible and he was angry with them.

‘They broke down the door and cut my baby in half. I promised I would get my revenge,’ he said.

 ‘Mad Dog’ spotted his victim on a minibus and followed him after deciding he looked Muslim.

He gathered a crowd of about 20 Christian youths who forced the bus driver to stop and dragged him from the bus.

Without emotion he told the BBC: ‘I poured petrol over him. I burned him. I ate his leg, right down the white bone.’

Man Eats His 3-yr-old Daughter’s Flesh And Drinks Her Blood [Pix]

Police called the grisly incident that occurred on Wednesday at a settlement near Lae "an act of cannibalism". A Papua New Guinea man described as a vampire has been arrested after allegedly murdering his young daughter by biting her neck, eating her flesh and drinking her blood, a report said on Friday. 

The PNG Post Courier cited local councillor John Kenny, who was one of the first on the scene, as saying the 3-year-old child and her mother were visiting the father when he grabbed the girl and ran off into nearby bushes. Kenny said the man allegedly held the toddler close to him, bit deep into her neck, ate the flesh and sucked her blood. Scared Two boys who were climbing a coconut tree nearby saw him and ran quickly to raise the alarm. 

"He was just laughing at the boys and continued eating the flesh and sucking the blood," Kenny told the newspaper. "The boys were scared and ran quickly to alert the people." When people arrived to investigate the man reportedly dumped the body in the bushes and ran away before being caught and turned over to police.

 PNG is a sprawling nation where black magic, sorcery and cannibalism sometimes occur. Last year police arrested dozens of people linked to an alleged cannibal cult accused of killing at least seven people, eating their brains raw and making soup from their p*nises. There have been several other recent cases linked to cults, witchcraft and cannibalism, with a man in 2011 reportedly found eating his screaming, newborn son during a sorcery initiation ceremony.
