SHOCKING NEWS: The Ex-Muslim Priest Said "ALL MUSLIM MUST CHANGE TO CHRISTIAN TO AVOID HELL FIRE"

While I was working in a muslim mosque as an imam, as a parish priest, I preach in my parish that Jesus Christ is not God, for me, God was only Allah, and I believed Allah never got married, so no sons for Allah. So I preached there that Jesus is not God. Then somebody ask me, who is Jesus?’’ from the crowd. Maybe a muslim, but he asked me, who is Jesus?’’ I was preaching he is not God, but the question is who is he? To know who is Jesus? I read the entire Koran once again: 114 chapters, 6666 in the Koran when I read it, the name of prophet Muhammad.

 I found it in Koran 4 places, but the name of Jesus I found in 25 places. There itself, I was a little confused. Why does the Koran give more preference to Jesus? And second thing, I could not see any woman’s name in Koran: the Prophet Muhammad’s mother’s name, or wife’s name, no, in the Koran, there is only one woman’s name that i found is Mariam, the mother of Jesus no other woman’s name. And in the holy Koran chapter 3, the name of the chapter is family of Mariam,’’ and holy Koran chapter 19, the name of the chapter itself is ‘’MARIAM’’ one chapter is ‘’MARIAM’’ so I was very curious to know why does Koran says all these things about MARIAM, holy Koran chapter 3 verse 34 onwards says that Mary was born without original sin, she never committed any sin in her life, she was ever virgin.

Koran chapter 50 verses 23 say that she went to heaven with her physical body. Even the assumption is writing in the holy Koran and then about Jesus, when I read chapter 3 verses 45 to 55 verses, there is 10 point which the Koran makes about Jesus. The first thing Koran says (kallimatulli) the arabic word which means ‘’the of God’’ and second thing is ( ahimokuli ) which mean spirit of God and the third (isa masi) which means Jesus Christ so Koran give the name for Jesus WORD OF GOD, SPIRIT OF GOD, JESUS CHRIST. And then Koran says that Jesus spoke when he was very small, like 2 days old. after his birth he began to speak , Koran says that Jesus created a live bird with mud. He took some mud, he formed a bird; when breathed into it, it became a live bird. So I think Jesus can give life because he gave life to mud, clay, and then Koran says that Jesus cured a man born blind and a man with leprosy, e.t.c

Curiously, the Koran says that Jesus gave life to dead people; Jesus went to heaven; he is still alive and he will come again. When I saw all these things in the Koran I taught of what Koran says about Muhammad, according to the Koran, prophet Muhammad is not the word of God, not spirit of God he never spoke when he was 2 days old, he never created any bird with mud, he never cure any sick people, he never raised any dead people, he himself died, and according to Islam he is not alive and he will not come back. So there is a lot of different between these two prophets. I didn’t call Jesus, God, you know my idea was ‘’He is a prophet but he is a prophet greater than Muhammad; so one day I went to my teacher, the one who taught me 10 years in Arabic college, and I ask him, teacher, how did God created the universe? Then he said God created the universe through the word,’’ THROUGH THE WORD. Then my question is: ‘’WORD’’ is creator or creation? He must clear this, my question is whether the WORD of God is creator or creation. Koran says Jesus is WORD of God. If my teacher says word of God is creator, which means Jesus is the creator, then muslim must become Christian suppose if he says the word is creation he will be trapped. You know why? He said everything was created through the word. Suppose if he said the word is creation, then how did God created the word? So he cannot say that the word is creator, or creation, so he was quite angry he push me out of his room and said word is not God, not creator or the creation you get out of here, ‘’he said The reason why Muslim doesn’t accept to be Christian is because they are blinded with the wrong teaching of their priest, Imam. They said that the word is creation they try to prove it wrongly…… they say the word is not creator, not the creation, but not God. And no creation also. They don’t equal with God, that all their problem. So when he said that I told my teacher, word is not the creator or the creation.’’ So, that is why Christian says the word is son of God. Then he told me if there is son for God, I must show him the wife of God. That without wife no chance of having a son then I showed him a portion from the Koran. Koran says that God can see without eyes, God can talk without tongue, God can hear without ears. It is writing in the Koran. I said if that is the case, so God can have a child without a wife. I took my Koran, I put it on my chest, and I said ‘’Allah’’, tell me what I should do because your Koran says Jesus is still alive, and Mohammad is no more. Tell me whom should I accept.’’ after my prayer I opened the Koran, I didn’t asked anyone, I asked only my Allah. When I opened Koran, I saw chapter 10 verses 94. You know what Koran says? It says if you have any doubt in this Koran which I give to you, go and read the Bible, or ask the people, those who read the Bible. The truth is already revealing that.

I beg all muslim to give their life to Christ because he is the only way to the kingdom of God. Please don’t perish like other muslims that is serving the god they do not know. I welcome you into Christ Jesus as you change your mind to accept him today. God bless you.

There is no promise of 72 virgins for martyrs, terrorists or suicide bombers anywhere in the Quran.

Amongst the many verses against suicide here is one that makes it very clear that the taking of one’s life is strongly prohibited and that there is no reward for anyone who does that.

But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily God hath been to you Most Merciful! If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for God. Qur’an 4:29 – 4:30

However, the main difference between Christianity and Islam is that Muslims do not believe that Jesus was God.

When the idea of children in Islam comes to your mind the first image that pops ups is a child begging on the street or how awful they are treated in Islamic schools.

Children, according to Islamic law, have various rights. One of these is the right to be properly brought up, raised, and educated. Islam encourages children to be brought up well because it is the responsibility of an adult to raise his child to become a moral and ethical adult.

Children must also be treated equally. When giving financial gifts they should all be the same amount and there should be no preference among them.

Children are even permitted to take moderately from their parent’s wealth to sustain themselves if the parent declines to give them proper funds for living.

A child is also not allowed to get hit in the face or hit by anything larger than a pencil

Description: 4.     ISLAM IS INTOLERABLE TO OTHER RELIGIONS

‘Kill the infidel’ is the phrase many people believe is the ideology that Muslims have towards the non Muslims. This, though, is not a correct portrayal of Islamic law.

Islam has always given respect and freedom of religion to all faiths. In the Quran it says “God does not forbid you, with regards to those who fight you not for religion nor drive you away out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them, for god loves those who are just.”

There are many historical examples of Muslim tolerance towards other faith. One such example was when the caliph Umar was ruler of Jerusalem from 634 to 644 AD. He granted freedom to all religious communities and said that the inhabitants of his city were safe and that their places of worship would never be taken away from them.

He also set up courts that were designated to the non Muslim minorities. Whenever he would visit holy areas he would ask for the Christian patriarch Sophronius  to accompany him.

The true Arabic meaning of the word jihad is struggle. However in Islam it is often used to describe the striving in the way of god.

There are many forms of jihad but the most important ones are Jihad al-nafs (jihad against ones self), jihad bil-lisan (jihad by being vocal), jihad bil yad (jihad by using action), and Jihad bis saif (jihad by using the sword).

Each jihad is ranked differently and it was reported that Muhammad returned from a battle and said “We have returned from the lesser jihad (going into battle) to the greater jihad (the struggle of the soul).”

This means that a Muslim struggling against himself and his soul is more important than the jihad of going into war.

Another misconception is that only when a person dies in war does that person becomes a martyr. This is, however, false and it is believed that anyone doing anything for the sake of god and is killed becomes a martyr.

A person who dies while performing pilgrimage in Mecca, a woman who dies while giving birth, or even someone who dies in a car crash while he was on his way to the mosque are all considered martyrs.

Description: 7.     ISLAM AND TERRORISM

This is by far the biggest misconception of Islam, given unfairly by stereotyping and the public image that the media gives.

Has anyone else noticed how when a specific group of people attack another group of people it is labeled as a ‘hate crime’, but when a Muslim opens fire on anybody it is quickly regarded as ‘terrorism’.

Many political dictators and officials or extremist groups use the name of Islam as a strategy to garner followers and attention when many of their practices go against the true basis of Islam.

However all over the world people practice Islam in the true form and use it as a way of life. There are many verses in the Quran that go against the idea of terrorism.

Some of these verses include “fight in the way of Allah those that fight you but do not transgress limits for god does not love transgressors.” This basically means do not fight except in self defense and even in doing so do not go beyond defense.

Another verse states “if they seek peace, then you seek peace,” which means do not attack people for no reason or kill innocent people.

There is nowhere in Islam, whether it be in the Quran or the teachings of Muhammad, that promotes the killing of innocent people.

Description: 6.     MUSLIMS ARE SAVAGES AND BARBARIC DURING WAR

Quite the contrary, when it comes to the conduct of war there are ten rules that every Muslim army must obey:

1. Do not commit treachery
2. Do not deviate from the right path
3. Do not mutilate dead bodies
4. Do not kill children
5. Do not kill women
6. Do not kill aged men
7. Do not harm or burn trees
8. Do not destroy buildings
9. Do not destroy an enemy’s flock, unless you use it for your food
10. When you pass people who have devoted their lives to monastic services leave them alone

Description: 8.     ISLAM ALLOWS STONING TO DEATH

Some think that ‘stoning to death’ is a punishment laid out in The Quran or promoted by Islam for acts such as adultery.

The Quran never sanctions stoning to death as a punishment for anyone. In fact, the only time it is mentioned in The Quran is as a threat to believers from non-believers:

11:91, 18:20, 19:46, 36:18, 44:20, 26:116

Also, the misconception of ‘stoning to death’ as punishment for adultery is disproved by the Quran. According to the Quran, the punishment for proven adultery is lashes [24:2].

Furthermore, this punishment is halved for formerly slave woman due to their past circumstance [4:25]. Since half ‘stoning to death’ is not possible, this indicates ‘stoning to death’ for adultery is not permitted.

Interestingly, in many popular translations of The Quran, for verse 24:3 they state an adulterer can only marry another adulterer, but if stoning to death for adultery was a punishment, this translation would be unnecessary and illogical.

Stoning to death as a punishment for adultery is from traditional narrations (called “hadith”) attributed to the prophet Muhammad, as recorded by later generations.

Description: 9.     ALLAH IS THE GOD FOR MUSLIMS

Some think that the word “Allah” refers to a special God for use by Muslims only.

Arabic like Aramaic and Hebrew, is a Semitic language.

The word that described God in Aramaic was pronounced “AaLaH” or “AaLoH”.

In Hebrew it was “Eloah” or “Elohim”, and in Arabic is “Allah”, which is considered a conjunction of “Al-ilah”, which is Arabic for “The-God” in English.

The English word “God” describes the same entity.

Remember that the language spoken by Jesus when he was alive was Aramaic, thereby leaving a possibility that he pronounced God as “AaLah” or “AaLoH”.

Besides Hausa’s and Arabs (Yes, some Arabs are Christians) refer to God as Allah. It does not make them any less of a Christian from you.

Description: 10.   MUHAMMAD WAS THE FOUNDER OF ISLAM

Some think that a man named Muhammad from Arabia was the first to introduce Islam or it came into existence with him and The Quran.

The word “islam” can be translated as “surrender/submission” (to God). A “muslim” can be translated as “one who surrenders/submits” (to God).

According to The Quran, everything in the universe, willingly or unwillingly has ultimately surrendered to God, thus the basic concept of islam/surrender/submission is as old as the universe itself: [3:83]

The Quran clearly states that Muhammad was a messenger and inspired just as the prophets before him:. [4:163] [3:84] [3:144] [3:79]

Also, The Quran specifically mentions the term “muslim” for those before prophet Muhammad, including: Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Jacob, and the companions of Jesus. [see 2:128, 2:131, 3:67, 3:52, 5:111, 10:72].

Thus, the prophet Muhammad was not the founder of islam/submission, but simply continued this universal message as one of many messengers of God.

Al-Shabab Islamists Attack Kenyan Bus, Execute 28 Christians On Board [Pix]

Islamic Al-Shabab extremists ambushed a bus in Kenya before executing 28 non-Muslims at point-blank range in a revenge attack for police raids on mosques in the troubled city of Mombasa.





 The heavily-armed gunmen ambushed the bus early yesterday as it headed for Nairobi from Mandera, a town that lies on the border with Somalia. According to AFP, the extremists reportedly separated the Muslims from the 28 victims by forcing them to read versus from the Koran . Those that failed were shot in the head at point-blank range.
The death toll - which included 19 men and nine women - was confirmed by Kenya's Red Cross, which said it was attempting to retrieve the victims' bodies from the scene. Regional police chief Noah Mwavinda also told AFP. 'I can confirm... that 28 innocent travellers were brutally execut
ed by the Shebab.Some 60 passengers were on  board the bus when it was seized by the gunmen. Gunmen waved down the bus before spraying it with bullets when it did not stop. They then shot a rocket-propelled grenade at the vehicle , before commandeering the bus off the road .

One of the passengers on the bus, Ahmed Mahat, told the BBC The driver tried to accelerate away, but the vehicle became stuck in mud caused by recent heavy rains.About 10 heavily-armed men speaking Somali ordered the passengers off the bus. "When we got down, passengers were separated according to Somali and non-Somalis,"

 "The non-Somalis were ordered to read some verses of the holy Koran, and those who failed to read were ordered to lie down. One by one they were shot in the head at point blank range."Some Somalis were shot after pleading with the gunmen to spare non-Somali passengers, Mr Mahat added. The attack comes after a week  after  Security forces raided mosques in the city, saying they were being used to store weapons.

Islamist Militant group ISIS has been killing non-Muslims in many cities in Iraq and Syria in their effort to eradicate the Christian faith in the countries...and they are not sparing children. The children's heads are being erected on poles in a city park according to an eyewitness who spoke with CNN.

    "There is a park in Mosul where they actually beheaded children and put their heads on a stick and have them in the park. The world hasn't seen this kind of atrocity in generations"  a prominent Chaldean-American businessman Mark Arabo told CNN.

MAN Ate Muslim’s Flesh With Bread ‘To Avenge His Pregnant Wife Death’ [Pix & Video]

Horrific footage has emerged of a cannibal eating the leg of a Muslim slaughtered by a rampaging Christian mob in the Central African Republic.

The victim was hauled from a bus, battered and then stabbed before being set on fire in the capital city Bangui, according to the BBC.

In the aftermath of the incident, one of his attackers Ouandja Magloire – who also calls himself ‘Mad Dog’ -  grabbed hold of his leg and then began to devour it.

Witness Jean-Sylvestre Tchya told news agency AFP: ‘One of the individuals took hold of an arm and went and bought some bread and starting chewing on the flesh, along with his bread.

Magloire said that his action was revenge for the murders of his pregnant wife, his sister-in-law and her baby

He claimed that Muslims were responsible and he was angry with them.

‘They broke down the door and cut my baby in half. I promised I would get my revenge,’ he said.

Face Of Dead Muslim Cleric ‘Appears On Mosque Wall’ In Lagos [Pix]

The Ilogbo Central Mosque is said to have received thousands of visitors after a face said to be that of late Sheikh Ibrahim Niass appeared on the outer wall of the place of worship.

The appearance of the face of the face of the renowned ‘Alfa’, who died 39 years ago, has been described as a blessing to all Muslim faithful.

Reportedly, an eye witness who simply gave his name as Mustapha said the mysterious appearing of Niass was a blessing to Muslims and Nigeria.
Mustapha said:

“I went to the Ilogbo Central Mosque and saw a huge crowd, both Muslims and Christians. I saw people using “Pure Water” to wash some parts of the Mosque, and allowing the water to fall into their container.

Those without container used handkerchief in cleaning the wall before using it on their body, saying it will heal their sickness.

The face of late Alfa Niass was just appearing on different parts of the wall at Ilogbo Central Mosque, and shortly it will disappear.

As at 1pm (yesterday) that I got here, the crowd was too much. Even when the police saw the crowd that came, they had to go back. Some of us who had wanted to pray in the mosque could no longer pray because of the crowd.

Barely a year after a child was reportedly born with a copy of the Holy Quran in Lagos and another born with an Islamic rosary, (Tesbah) in Sagamu, Ogun State. Last Tuesday, another amazing event occurred at Owode Onirin, Ikorodu, Lagos; as images of some clerics who died decades ago were believed to have made sudden appearances on the walls of Dawiz Central Mosque in the area.

When our agent visited the mosque, thousands of people and passers-by storm the mosque to have a glimpse.

The images were identified as that of late Sheikh Ahmada Tijani, (Algeria) Sheikh Ibraheem Niass, (Senegal) Sheikh Jamiu Bulala. (Nigeria)

Although the images were not clear as at the time our agent visited, but those who spoke to our agent said the images were clearer on Tuesday when they were first noticed.

According to Eye-witness: “The images were noticed on Tuesday September 3, on the walls of the mosque which was constructed a few months ago and owned by Sheikh Musa Alegbeleye.”

It was gathered that four months ago, the image of Sheikh Jamiu Bulala Islamic Cleric, who had died two decades ago appeared first faintly to the consternation of Muslim faithful and they decided never to make it public to creat any doubt.

The strange occurence has turned the serene Owode Onirin area into a Makkah of sorts as people thronged the area not only to see but to also offer some prayers. Right inside the mosque, people were seen holding bottles/satchets of water muttering prayers and shouting Allahu Akbar (God is great). Some were even seen bowing to the image.

Efforts to speak with the founder of the group and leader of the mosque, Sheikh Alegbeleye, was futile, as we were told he was sleeping after observing several vigil prayers.

Speaking on the development and an eye-witness, the President of Islamic society of Nigeria, Lagos State Mukadam Alhaji Samodu Onikoyi confirmed the appearance of the images.  “We started noticing a very faint image which came with intermittent brightness on the inside wall of the mosque which were replica of the portrait of Sheikh Ibrahim Niass, Sheikh Jamiu Bulala and Sheikh Ahmaa Tijani engraved on the walls of the building.”

How it Happened: “A member of the mosque Alhaja Idayatu Idera Afolabi first noticed it and she rushed out to inform everybody and when we saw it, we decided to cover it, because we thought if we announce it, people will think it is ruse that one is trying to play on their intelligence.  But when I also saw it, I was greatly terrified, wondering how such thing could have happened”.

“My thought was that the image would eventually disappeared but on the second day, it brightened more and started showing on all sides of the building which made us to still cover it untill it became public“.

An eye-witness also disclosed that attempt was made by some individuals to wash off the images but to no avail; adding that the more they try to rub it off, the more the images become clearer.

For me, that image is not real and it’s an evil imagination. Because the Bible says Jesus will come down with the Holy Saints and Prophet at the last day. And I will advice those clerics to stop deceiving people because I don’t understand what that means and I have not seen such before.

This is unbelievable, although as a Christian, I’m not trying to say this is evil but to them they believe; it’s a sign of end time and some of them said it is stated in the Koran. So, I cannot judge, only God knows the truth about it. All I can say is that we are all serving the living God, there should not be anything like the Muslims are idol worshipers but to me this is a sign of end time. So, people should mend their ways.

Shaykh Tijani 1735-1815
Shaykh Tijani was born in 1735 in Aïn Madhi, a small village in western-central Algeria. An orphan at the age of 15, and applied himself to his studies. Having learned the Quran by heart at age seven, he studied the fundamentals of Maliki jurisprudence and other texts. For nearly 50 years Shaykh Tijani was the main active propagator of the doctrine of Toriqah.

Shaykh Tijani his passed on Thursday 22 September 1815. After he performed the Subh prayer, he laid down on his right side while he asked for a glass of water then he returned to his bed and died. Even in the coffin, people were rushing and trying hard to hold his coffin and it was a scene full of deep emotions where tears and sorrows constituted the landmark of this great funeral. Shaykh Tijani was buried in his blessed Zawiya. He is followed today by over 300 million disciples world-over.

Born in 1900 in the village of Taïba Niassène between the Senegalese city of Kaolack and the border of Gambia, the main representative of the Tijaniya- Sufi Order, often referred to as Tariqat al-Tijjaniyyaa.  During his youth, Sheykh Ibrahim relocated with his father to the city of Kaolack, where they established the zwiya (religious center) of Lewna Ñaseen.

Shaykh Ibrahim’s role as principal Imam of the Medina Baay mosque has been carried out by the Cisse family. While serving as Medina Baay’s Imam, he took his teachings to the United States, United Kingdom and many other western countries. He was regarded as Leader of Tariqa al-Tijaniyya after the late Ah,ada Tijani. He died in August, 2008.

Boko-Haram: 44 massacred in Borno mosque

About 44 people praying at a mosque in Konduga town, some 22 miles outside Maiduguri, Borno state, have been gunned down by suspected Islamic militants, security agents said.

A Department of State Service, DSS, agent and a member of a civilian vigilante group working with the military said, yesterday, they counted the bodies at the mosque after last Sunday morning’s attack.

Also yesterday, embattled leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau made a video appearance and claimed series of recent deadly attacks on security forces in the North-East. Shekau also insisted that he was in “good health” despite an on-going military offensive aimed at crushing the Islamist insurgent group he heads.

He also challenged US President, Barack Obama; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and French leader, Francois Hollande, saying they were not his match.

“You have not killed Shekau,” he said in the video distributed through a local intermediary in a manner similar to previous Boko Haram messages.

On the massacred 44, the DSS agent spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to reporters. But agency reports quoted one Usman Musa of the civilian group as saying that four of its vigilantes were also killed when they responded to calls for help.

Another report said12 people were killed in Ngom of Mafa Local Government Area of the state between Saturday and early Sunday morning. The armed men, suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect reportedly invaded the two council areas during the Muslim Asba prayers.

Residents who fled to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, yesterday for safety, disclosed that the gunmen killed an unspecified number of people. A source from the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) said they received 26 victims of the attacks who are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

Also a member representing Konduga at the state house of assembly, Ali Bukar Dalori told newsmen at Government House, Maiduguri that he received news of attacks on members of his constituency with shock. He said although he did not know the casualty figure, he was informed that many people lost their lives and some who were injured were brought to UMTH for treatment.

“I was told that many people were killed. I will be going to the hospital to see the victims; I think the governor would be going there either today or tomorrow to see for himself. But whatever it is, many people were killed yesterday,” he said.

In the Shekau video, seated on a short stool with a Kalashnikov rested on his right shoulder, the Islamic sect’s boss said Boko Haram was “responsible” for several deadly raids over the past months.

These include attacks on the police and military in the towns of Malam Fatori and Bama, which sparked clashes that killed at least 35 people, according to the military.

The video contained what Shekau claimed was footage of Boko Haram gunmen opening fire on the military in Bama, using heavy weapons mounted on flat-bed trucks.

Shekau also referred to fighting in the towns of Baga and Gamboru Ngala near the border with Cameroon.

The Boko Haram leader has been declared a global terrorist by the United States, which in March put a $7 million (5.3 million euros) bounty on his head.

“I’m challenging Obama,” Shekau said in the video. He voiced similar challenges to French President Francois Hollande and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”They are no match for me,” he proclaimed.

Somali president urges Jacob Zuma to investigate killing of Somali in South Africa after graphic video goes viral. Somalia’s president says he “wants answers” from South Africa after the brutal murder of a Somali man in Port Elizabeth.

The Somali man, 25-year-old Abdi Nasir Mahmoud Good, was stoned to death on May 30 by a mob. The violence was captured on a mobile phone and shared on the internet.
Sheik Mohammed, Somalia’s president, called on his South African counterpart Jacob Zuma to “act immediately” to arrest those responsible.

Kamal Gutale, chief of staff in the Somali presidency, told Al Jazeera on Monday: “The president has asked Mr Zuma and his foreign minister to look into the matter and investigate the brutal killing and violence.”
The murder is the latest in a number of attacks on Somali immigrants in South Africa. Police are investigating the death but no one has been arrested.

The Somali presidency said the issue was raised on the sidelines of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) in Tokyo on Sunday, after the Somali community was hit by a series of attacks in South Africa over the last week.

“At the time, President Zuma was not aware of the incident and expressed surprise,” Gutale said.
The South African president promised to look into the matter, he said. But SASA said that the South African government has repeatedly failed to act on this and previous attacks on foreigners.
“This is not the first time; this is happening over and over again. The South African government is not taking action, the community is angry and every time this happens, nothing is ever done,” said SASA spokesman Ismaeel Abdi Adan.

The South African presidency was unavailable to comment.
The African Centre for Migration and Society at Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg, said in a report released in 2012 that Somali-run businesses suffered disproportionately from crime, including attacks by competing South African traders.
The South African government has said that previous violence against foreigners was a result of criminality and not xenophobia.

In 2008, more than 50 foreign African nationals were killed in a spate of violence against foreign nationals across the country.

Chief Imam remanded in prison over N3m fence

Chief Imam of Lagbasa Central Mosque in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State, Alhaji Akibu Adam, is still languishing in Kirikiri Prisons, Lagos, seven days after he was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate Court, Lagos for damaging the fence of an estate belonging to Archbishop Felix Job.

 The Chief Imam is been detained following his inability to meet his bail conditions.
Adam, who was arraigned alongside four others, Alhaji Oseni Falana, Chief Shamsudeen Elegbeleye and Tunde Ashafa, was alleged to have conspired with others to destroy the fence of a 10-acre land located at Langbasa Estate, in Eti-Osa council.

Police Prosecutor, Michael Okon, alleged in the three-count charge leveled against the defendants, that the destroyed fence, valued at N3 million, belonged to Archbishop Job.
Part of the charge reads: “That you, Akibu Adam, Oseni Falana, Shamsudeen Elegbeleye, Tunde Ashafa and others at large, sometimes in 2012 at Alaba Estate Langbasa town, Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Lagos, did maliciously damage the fence of entire 10 acres of land valued at N3 million, property of Archbishop Job.”

The alleged offence committed by the defendants is punishable under sections 52, 337 and 409 of the criminal law of Lagos State, 2011.
When the charge was read to them, the defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted bail in the sum of N5 million by Magistrate H. O. Omisore.
The matter has been adjourned till July 2.

Boko Haram claims victories over military and call for help from other muslim countries

The leader of Islamist extremist group Boko Haram claims in a video obtained by AFP on Tuesday that Nigerian soldiers have retreated during an ongoing military offensive and insurgents have sustained little damage.

The video marks the first public comments from Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau since the start of a sweeping offensive by the Nigerian army on May 15 and also includes a call for foreign Islamists to join the fight in Nigeria.

Shekau’s whereabouts cannot be determined in the video, in which he is shown seated while dressed in camouflage with a turban, an AK-47 at his side.

His comments contradict statements from the military, which has claimed major successes during the offensive, including the destruction of Boko Haram camps and dozens of arrests.

It has been impossible to verify the claims of either side independently, with the military having cut mobile phone service in much of the country’s northeast and access to remote locations restricted.
“Since we started this ongoing war which they call state of emergency … in some instances soldiers who faced us turned and ran,” Shekau said in the hour-long video.
He claimed Nigerian forces “threw down their arms in flight.”

He called on like-minded Islamists in countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq to join the fight to create an Islamic state in Nigeria.
“We call to us our brethren in these countries I mentioned. Oh! Our brethren, come to us,” he said in the video, which alternates between Arabic and the Hausa language spoken across northern Nigeria.
The video later purports to show vehicles and weapons seized from Nigerian soldiers.
Shekau, designated a global terrorist by the United States last year, repeats earlier statements that Boko Haram “will not stop the kidnap of your women and children until you set free our women and children, and our brethren.”

He also says Boko Haram’s goal is either the creation of an Islamic state or “martyrdom”.
The video was delivered to AFP though an intermediary in a manner similar to previous Boko Haram messages. The images of Shekau in the video are consistent with those previously released.

Nigeria launched the offensive against Boko Haram after President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in three states in the country’s northeast, the Islamist insurgents’ stronghold.
Several thousand troops were deployed and fighter jets hit alleged Boko Haram camps.
On May 20, the military said it had re-established control in five remote areas of the northeast where Islamist insurgents had seized territory.

It had also claimed the arrests of 120 suspected insurgents.
The military’s latest statement says 25 insurgents were arrested and three killed during operations at the weekend, including one identified as “Abba” included on a most-wanted list. One soldier was also killed, it said.

“Troops of the special forces have intercepted messages sent to fleeing insurgents urging them not to give up but fight to the end,” the statement said.

“The attempt by some of them to heed the call was foiled during the weekend as they were trailed to some settlements and towns towards the border where they plan to regroup.”

Last week, the military also said it had freed three women and six children abducted by Boko Haram.
Nigeria’s government has also pledged to release certain suspects held in connection with the insurgency as a peace gesture, including all women and children.
Boko Haram has waged its insurgency since 2009, with an estimated 3,600 people left dead, including killings by the security forces.

The group has pushed for the creation of an Islamic state in Africa’s most populous nation and largest oil producer, though its demands have repeatedly shifted.
It is believed to include various factions with differing aims.

Nigeria’s military has come under heavy criticism over its response to Boko Haram, including allegations of extra-judicial killings, arbitrary arrests and unlawful detentions.

Bomber Lynched After Mosque Blast, Another Arrested

Muslim worshippers in northern Nigeria’s Kano city on Wednesday night
lynched a suspected bomber after an explosive detonated outside the
city’s main mosque, a military spokesman said.

The suspect was mobbed and drenched in petrol along with his
motorised tricycle before being set alight, while a second suspect
was nabbed while trying to flee, Lieutenant Iweha Ikedichi said.

“There was an explosion around the central mosque this evening and people
in the area pursued the bombers who came on a tricycle and lynched
one of them by setting him and the tricycle on fire,” Ikedichi said.
"The other suspect was apprehended and is in our custody,” Ikedichi said, without giving details on the identity of the suspect.

 There were no injuries from the explosion or damage to the mosque, which sits at the centre of the city near the palace of Emir of Kano Ado Bayero.

The emir is an influential traditional and spiritual leader who survived a gun attack on his convoy in January in which five people were killed.

It was not clear who was behind the explosion although Islamist extremist group Boko Haram has carried out repeated shootings and bombings in the city, northern Nigeria’s largest.

Earlier on Wednesday, Nigeria took a further step towards granting amnesty to Boko Haram members in an effort to stop the insurgency.

President Goodluck Jonathan announced a panel to study how the offer should be made. A member of the panel, Shehu Sani has rejected his membership of the 25-man panel.

The Boko Haram conflict is estimated to have left more than 3,000 people dead since 2009, including killings by the security services.

MEND threatens to kill Muslim clerics, bomb mosques from May 31

FEAR of a religious war  loomed, weekend, in Nigeria, following the threat by Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, to commence the assassination of Muslim clerics, bombing of mosques, hajj camps and Islamic institutions as from May 31.
The exercise, codenamed, Operation Barborossa, according to  spokesman of the militant group, Jomo Gbomo, is to save Christianity in Nigeria from total destruction.
MEND’s threat is obviously in response to the bombing of Christians and Christian worship places by the Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

 It said: “On behalf of the hapless Christian population in Nigeria, MEND will, from Friday, May 31, 2013, embark on a crusade to save Christianity in Nigeria from annihilation.
“The bombing of mosques, hajj camps, Islamic institutions, large congregations in Islamic events and assassination of clerics that propagate doctrines of hate, will form the core mission of this crusade code named Operation Barbarossa.
“This campaign will not in any way interfere with the ongoing “Hurricane Exodus,” which on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 1am, swept through the Ewellesuo community, in Nembe, Bayelsa State, leaving the destruction of well 62, belonging to Shell Petroleum Development Company in its wake.
“We may only consider a ceasefire of Operation Barbarossa if the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, the Catholic Church and Henry Okah, one of the few leaders in the Niger Delta region we respect for his integrity, intervenes.
“Also, the assurance for a cessation of hostilities targeted at Christians in their places of worship, made privately or publicly by the real Boko Haram leadership will make us call off this crusade.
“We have no problem with their attacks on security agencies including the prisons, for their role in extrajudicial killings, torture, deceit and corruption.”

Man Arrested With Charm In Church

A man,  Ali Haruna, 25, a native of Kano State, northwest Nigeria,  has been arrested by the police at the Maroko Police Division, Lekki, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, for allegedly entering the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, situated on Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos with charms strapped to his waist. He was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate court on one count charge of illegally entering a church with charms.

The police alleged  that the accused was arrested following a complaint by members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos, that they found the accused inside their church on 31 March, 2013 with charms. During interrogation, he allegedly told the police that he entered the church to pray to God. But when asked what he was doing with the charms he strapped to his waist, he could not give satisfactory answer nor explain how long he has been worshiping in the church since he claimed he was a Muslim.

The church members suspected him to have entered the church to perpetrate evil.
After investigation by Corporal Sekinat Akinbola, he was charged to court.
The offence is contrary to and punishable under section 133(b) of the criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011. The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge, and Magistrate Mrs. Ope Agbe admitted him on bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety with proof of tax payment to the Lagos State government.

She adjourned the matter till 29 April, 2013 for mention. The defendant was, however, moved to Ikoyi prison pending when he would fulfil the bail conditions.

Jesus Did Not Die on the Cross, He Was In a Coma'' - Sheikh Gumi says

Respected Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Abubakar Gumi has sensationally asserted that Jesus Christ did not die on the cross and there was therefore no basis for Christians to celebrate Easter.
According to Gumi, Jesus was only comatose. Gumi made this postulation on his facebook page on a post titled 'Easter Musings'.

EASTER MUSINGS!

We thank Allah the Benevolent the Merciful, for passing us through the Easter season without any significant insecurity issue more especially against the Christian. We are happy for that and we applaud all for the peace-calling speeches we heard from all quarters.

Since Easter is meant to be a period of spiritual contemplation, the best gift we can offer our Christian fellows is another prism to see through and re-contemplate.

Religion is not defined by its adherents but by the theological basis of its deliverance. For instance, if Boko Haram, are the ones that define Islam, then Islam will be like a candle in broad day light burning itself out. Nor the sultanate or any other traditional or cultural organization or religious order for that matter. Nay, Islam is defined by the scriptural purity of its universal message. In that sense also, the church today does not define Christianity nor what the Christians do or don’t do. Christianity is equally defined by its theology.

The theological basis, on which Easter celebrates, is the foundation of the Christian faith. St. Paul wrote: “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.“ Resurrection purports the necessity to believe that Jesus – alaihis Salam- died on the cross. On this all canonical Christians agree. Their belief is that Jesus was killed by crucifixion (c.f. cruci-fiction). While the Quran came categorically plain that Jesus was never killed by any method, crucifixion included. “And because of their boasting (Jews): "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”.;- but They killed Him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety They killed Him not:- Nay, Allah raised Him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted In power, Wise;- And there is none of the people of the Book but must believe In Him before His death; and on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them;”- Q4/157-159.

These are words of the Quran, clear and unambiguous that Jesus Christ was not killed by the Jews or Romans. Beyond that, neither the Quran nor any Hadith attributed to the prophet –peace be upon him- explained the details of what happened to him. For the Islamic theologians they had to also depend on some Jewish narrations called “israeliyat” with what literally tally with the Quranic verse of their understanding. That is why the difference of opinion as to who was actually the fellow that was made to resemble Jesus.

Part of the miracles of the Holy Quran is the malleability and selection of words -like a master key- to repute different wrong and faulty theological discrepancies at a go. What the Quran said was that the Jews who claimed they have killed Jesus on the cross are in dispute and are only following their thoughts – conjecture. “and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety They killed Him not”.

Strangely for them, such doubts were recorded among the canonical Christians. (Joh:19:31: The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Joh:19:32: Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.Joh:19:33: But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:).

The testimony of his death on the cross came from a distance observation of Roman soldiers - the executioners “and saw that he was dead already”. On the contrary, on close observation, of one of them, the bible recorded, doubted and therefore took a different cause to ascertain whether he actually died. (Joh:19:34: BUT one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. Joh:19:35: And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. Joh:19:36: For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. Joh:19:37: And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.)

Here we are: “But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe” that he was not dead when he was brought down from the cross. He was then only comatose. Therefore, the Quran here is also a perfect answer for this line of theological belief. Allah said in the Quran “”.;- but They killed Him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety They killed Him not:- Nay, Allah raised Him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted In power, Wise;”. It explains the logic behind the emphasis “, for of a surety They killed Him not”. For those non canonical Christian scriptures like the disputed Gospel of Barnabas, where Jesus was substituted with another disciple, the Quranic expression “but so it was made to appear to them” is read as “but so he was made to appear to them”.

Whichever way Christians and non-Christians follow, the Quran exposes the dispute therein in the one of the four canonical gospels and augment their uncertainty of his death on the cross as is in their scriptures, the very foundation of which billions of faithful hang their salvation on.

Let us figuratively look at the issue this way. A thirsty man with the choices of either drinking a glass of a probably poisoned milk or an ascertained pure glass of water would drink the water. No two sane people will argue about this logic. This is the lesson the Quran casted on the end of the life of one of the greatest human that lived. Leave what is doubtful and follow what is simple and clear. Jesus – alaihis Salam- taught in unequivocal terms that God is the Master in charge and should only be worshiped directly, so why do people bet on the most unsubstantiated historical account of his life as the foundation of their faith? This when he has clearly shown his limitations. “And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.” M't:20:23. “ … no intercessor (can plead with him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him Therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition? Q10/3.

Let us all join hands to worship one God; there is no Deity except Him.
